With over 30 years of experience, Derrick Interests, Inc. and it's President, Bruce W. Derrick, have been involved in all aspects of the commercial real estate industry. In fact, Mr. Derrick, personally or through Derrick Interests, has served as the developer or as a partner in the development of projects in well excess of 1,000,000 square feet.
The Company currently manages, for its own account, a portfolio of properties containing approximately 500,000 square feet with more than 100 tenants, including national names such as Radio Shack, Cricket, Starbucks, Black-Eyed Pea, Eckerd Drugs, Subway, Budget Car Rental and Blockbuster Video.

Bruce Derrick has been involved in all phases of the commercial real estate business. Prior to entering the real estate industry, he spent several years in corporate banking. Mr. Derrick's educational background includes a business degree from Washington and Lee University, as well as an M.B.A. from Southern Methodist University. In addition to being a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers, he is a licensed real estate broker in both Texas and Georgia.

Having been with Derrick Interests for nearly 15 years, Sherry Porter has managed all aspects of administrative support. Currently, Sherry addresses Accounts Payable / Receivable issues, insurance and tax matters, and Human Resources.
Property Manager
Christine Biehle joined Derrick Interests 2001. She has extensive experience in management support roles in a variety of trades, including oil spill response, risk management, and manufacturer sales. Chris currently serves as Property Manager for all Centers in Texas and Leasing Agent for Jessamine Trade Center, as well as Office Assistant to Mr. Derrick.
